Installation

1 – Copy the ROM file THL5000_C_X9 on the SD card
2 – Restart to TWRP recovery,
3 – click Wipe and select items: Dalvik Cache, System, Cache, Data,  and Android Secure, then click Swipe to Wipe
4 – click on Install, choose THL5000_C_X9 and install it – click Swipe to Install, then click Reboot System

NEW ROM Cm13-1 V3 .zip, NO NEED UDATE, only modem 850-900 depending of country.

Make absolutely backup of your ROM before proceeding with Installation.
I am not responsible if you have problems.

I used TWRP 2.8.7.0, maybe other also.
Copy Cm13-1.zip to SD card or phone RAM
Advanced Wipe – Dalvik Cache, System, Cache, Data, Android Source
Click Mount -, Mount USB Storage, Unmount
Install. First BOOT is longer !!!
ROM is ROOT – Go to Setting, About phone, click 5 or 7 time on Build Number for Devloper Option.
In Devloper Option Root Access and Advanced Reboot.
GAPPS are included.

Method to unbrick or format the Android phone.
Bricked phone does not exist. If hardware is correct and you use adequat software you can do run each phone.
Download and install "SP Flash Tool" version 5.16 or newest.
If you use "SP Flash Tool" and got message "PMT changed for the ROM it must be downloaded" that mean your bootloader forbid entry by USB.
In this case you must take "Scatterfile" from ROM which you will install.
Be sure you have the right drivers for the phone concerns. On Windows 10 and updated Windows 7 no need drivers.
Download and decompress ROM (for Flashtool) you want to copy to your phone. In ROM must have TWRP recovey integrated.
Start Flashtool.
1-Click on "Scatter-loading" and look in the directory where is the ROM that you have downloaded.
Connect USB cable.
2-Click on DOWNLOAD ONLY and press red boutton under the SIM card 1.
3-If nothing happens click on FIRMWARE UPGRADE. (Red button) In most cases this work.
4-If still nothing happens click on FORMAT ALL + DOWNLOAD. (Red button)
In this case (FORMAT ALL + DOWNLOAD) the phone will be formatted, ROM downloaded. Phone this time should work but IMEI will be erased.
5-Last case rarely needed Is "Format" by Flashtool, install the ROM after only whit FORMAT ALL + DOWNLOAD
In this case you loose IMEI and must rewrite with Mtk Droid Tool.
I think that you don't need this process extremely rarely used.

Inastall MTK Droid tools and rewritte IMEI numbers you found on the phone battery. ROM must be ROOT.

Now you can install ROM in ZIP formats which you want, or you can do restore from your backup.
For THL 5000 I suggest VIBE UI 2, from here: http://www.needrom.com/download/thl-5000-vibeui-2-0-final/ because this format accept all ROMs but not reverse.

Never use MTK Droid Tool on Lollipop or Marshmallow, use it only on KitKat.

There are other ways to format the phone, but this is in my opinion the simplest method.

YOU NEED ROOT!
MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE!

1. Download the 2 files.
2. Connect your mobile to PC and copy files to SD.
3. Disconnect.
4. Use a file manager to copy bootanimation.zip to /system/media.

(Rename the original bootanimation.zip first, if you want a backup.)

5. Fix permissions (rw-r–r–). Same as the original bootanimation.zip.
6. Copy update.zip to sdcard1 (internal).

(I do so, because I can't use external SD in TWRP. Don't know why.If you don't use an external SD, copy to sdcard0.)

7. Reboot into Recovery and flash the update.zip to change boot splash image.
8. Reboot and enjoy the darkness.

Keyguard – prohibited the menu button on lockscreen

framework-res – unchanged.
In services a lot of changes in the PowerManager. It seems that there is something corrected.
framework.jar – changes are wi-fi, wallpaper manager and webview.
Many changes in Mediatek's frames. This is likely due to the new libami and drivers. But these files, we never did patches.

PHILIPS_I928_ROM by Dimid/iv2012

Good ROM port from Philips I928 phone, comes from excellent ukrainian author with nickname  Dimid/iv2012. Contains only 4 languages - english, russian, ukrainian and romanian. It is a pure Android 4.4.2, Gapps are integrated, ROM is ROOTed. Part of this ROM Dimid used in his other ROMs. But, on russian debate are people who use this simple ROM and are happy with it. Too bad the ROM contains only 4 languages. I uploaded it here for archival purposes. Try it if you want.

Custom kernel install if you have problems witch showing the battery % capacity. After kernel installation in TWRP make Wipe Cache/Dalvik. Completely discharge the battery, then fully charge the battery. Now, the battery level should display correctly (not guarantee that it will be so real).

Classic ROM v3 by Dimid/iv2012 mod rbt - in my opinion this is currently one of the two best ROM the best multilanguage ROM for THL 5000 (second is Ultimate ROM).

Classic ROMs comes from excellent ukrainian author Dimid/iv2012 (see below to his pages on russian forum). Dimid still made three classic ROM - V1, V2 and V3. Original version no. 1 and no. 3 contains only 4 languages. Therefore, I decided to prepare a multilanguage version nо.3. Thank Dimid for creating truly excellent ROM, I just finished his work - made available ROM for non-Russian speakers – added the world's major languages (I was informed Dimid about it). 

This version is a pure Android 4.4.2  + specific functions of hardware THL5000. Dimid collected all the best from the firmware ROM: Classic ROM, Philips ROM, OPPO_UI ROM, official ROMs. Camera, GPS and radio are from Philips ROM.  Dialer, flip cover, smart gestures are from original ROM 1.1.0. Recent apps from Oppo_UI, OpenGL, 3D from Philips I928.  Modem 900Mhz from XL5. Author leave the original launcher in the ROM, but I recommend to install Nova launcher,  with it ROM works perfectly. Gapps are integrated. Integrated Power Fix Patch also. The first picture shows my screen with Nova Launcher and Wearher & Clock Widget.

I added the same languages as the version no.2:

Installation:
Latest version are THL_Classic_ROM_v3.0_rbt4-new_disp.zip and THL_Classic_ROM_v3.0_rbt4-old_disp.zip. Before installing, you must determine which display type is used on your phone. Install Display tester application from GP - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gombosdev.displaytester. Go to "Display quality" menu and run "Gamma detection". If your gamma value is 1.2 you have a new display type, install file THL_Classic_ROM_v3.0_rbt4-new_disp.zip. If your gamma value is 1,8-2,0 you have old display type, install THL_Classic_ROM_v3.0_rbt4-old_disp.zip.

Custom kernel install if you have problems witch showing the battery % capacity (it is not necessary for all phones). After kernel installation in TWRP make Wipe Cache/Dalvik. Completely discharge the battery, then fully charge the battery. Now, the battery level should display correctly (not guarantee that it will be so real).

Benefits of ODEX ROM:
The advantages of ODEX ROM is faster start system applications, better stablity, longer battery life and the fact that applications use less RAM as than they are in DEODEX state. Before starting ODEX process you  have to check whether your phone has min. free space: Framework (14%), System apps (23%), the entire ROM (31%). In most cases this is not a problem.

How to make ODEX procedure:
- in TWRP, make a full backup (not necessary, I recommend)
- in TWRP install  "OdexerTool_1.4_ARMEABI.zip"
- ater restart to system you will find Terminal emulator apk in phone, run it
- type "su" and Enter (without quotes)
- type "odex" displays a list of available commands
- type "all"
- will take place odex process in folders: app, priv-app and framework
- at the end of the ODEX process, type "1", the phone will restart
- done

6. Can you add other langagues? Like DE? Yes and No. When i have translating sources is no problem. But some MIUI Fan sites make own translation and dont share with main forum xiaomi.eu. But when come e.g. Stable version from MIUI Germany i can port whole ROM or use sources from this ROM.

THL5000 Ultimate ROM by Dimid/iv2012 - in my opinion this is currently one of the two best ROM the best multilanguage ROM for THL 5000 (second is Classic V3mod ROM).

I am not the author of this ROM, made only a few adjustments and necessary small translations from russian (some texts were only in russian) to other languages. This is the last ROM from really excellent  ukrainian author Dimid/iv2012 (see below to his page and donate him on WebMoney). Dimid collected all the best form all his previous ROMs. Power consumption is good, ROM is multilanguage as Classic V3mod. This ROM is continuing of Classic ROM V3mod. He used part of the code from: Philips i928 1436_00_V17A_CIS, THL 5000 v1.1.2, DEXP Ixion XL 5 v1.8H. Thank Dimid for all of his hard work. This ROM I posted here with his permission. Kernel patch for old displays was made by jitnovod from russian forum. I uploaded it here, to make ROM available for non russian speakers, which can't log on to the Russian forum.  I prepared modified version,  where removed the residual cyrillic and added missing translates.

* run it, choose Display quality/Gamma detection
* will see test image - rectangles with numbers
* rectangle whose color matches the background determines the Gamma value
* Gamma correct value is around 2.0

Detailed installation instructions:

THL 5000 VIBEUI 2.0 Final / VibeUI 2.0 1507 7.21.1 - next ROM from excellent  ukrainian author Dimid/iv2012 (see below this post  and donate him on WebMoney, he hasn't Paypal). It is port from phone Lenovo s939 2.0 VibeUI 1507. No OTG and NFC, ROOT and GAPPS are included. Dimid gave me permission to upload ROM here.

Dimid version originaly support only three languages: english, russian and chinesse. Therefore, I prepared a patch file that expands the number of languages at number 59. I am still working on better translations. (if you want to support me in next translations, click to Paypal button on this page, This is not a button to support Dimid).

Installation:
Before flashing  make a full backup of the current system in TWRP (Boot, Logo, Nvram,Recovery,Uboot,System,Data). If you will want to return previous ROM, simply restore the backup.

1) install drivers on PC (support Win 7/8 – 32/64bit)
- unpack archive "Driver_Auto_Installer_v1.1236.00.zip" to folder e.g."C:\x\", will get folder "Driver_Auto_Installer_v1.1236.00"
- in this folder run as administrator file "Driver_Auto_Installer_v1.1236.00\Install.bat"
- during the driver installation will shows window, click on second option "Install the driver software"

- be patient, wait until shows the black box with message "Press any key to continue …"
- now press Enter, the window will close
- restart PC

2) Install ROM – Flashtool
- upack archive "THL5000_VibeUI_1.5GB.rar" to folder "C:\xx"
- unpack file "SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1352.01.rar"  to folder e.g. "C:\xxx" and run file "flash_tool.exe" (when you first start the following error message appears, click OK)

- then will open the program window, on the right side, click on the "Scatter-loading" and select the file "C:\xx"\MT6592_Android_scatter.txt and click on "Open"

- will get this screen

- in the menu Options\Option\Download set checkbox "DA DL All with Checksum"

- in the drop-down list, select the firmware methods "Firmware Upgrade"

- switch OFF your phone (very important!)
- click the "Download" button, seemingly nothing happens, the computer is waiting for your phone
- now connect your phone (phone is OFF) to the PC
- the process will start, red/yellow/magenta/yellow  progress bar will appear at the window bottom (wait to starts/finish process)
- finally will shows this window

- done, switch OFF phone,close the program in the PC, disconnect the phone and then run it
- start your phone
- when first start the setup process starts, select english language
- go to TWRP and install combo patch file NewTranslat&Patch_6.zip (click Install button, then button Wipe Cache/Dalvik, then click Restart button) – it will install all Dimid patches and additional languages.

- The core for the new display type - VibeUI_boot_1.1.2_fixed.zip 
- All other original patches  BT_Fix.zip, ideaFriend.zip, GreenLed100.zip, ScreenRecorder.zip are now included in one combo patch file NewTranslat&Patch_6.zip.

Why is this version FlashTool, not for TWRP? Because Dimid had  to repartition the memory to increase the size of the partition / system. In our small stock section does not fit the big firmware. If in the future you will be flashed using Flash Tool other firmware, it is necessary to save the layout to be copied from the replacement of the firmware files MBR, EBR1, EBR2, MT6592_Android_scatter.txt. Marking does not affect the subsequent firmware through recovery. His older backups also can restore this layout. Now under the system allocated 1.5 GB of internal card about 9GB. It was in the drain 800 mb, 9.77 GB. Size Userdata stayed prezhdnemu. All future firmware will do in view of the new layout. (Translated from russian).

Mistakes: Samsung Contacts application has a small bug, does not search contacts by clicking on the alphabet at the right edge of display (see additional patches). It's a trifle, normal search window works well. If you want to use  contacts search by clicking on the alphabet at the right edge of display, install exDialer from Google Play.

THL 5000 VIBEUI 2.0 1516 7.25.1 DEV  - next ROM from excellent  ukrainian author Dimid/iv2012 (see below this post  and donate him on WebMoney, he hasn't Paypal). It is port from phone Lenovo S898t+ VIBEUI 2.0 1516 7.25.1 DEV. No OTG and NFC,  GAPPS are included. ROOT in extra install file. Dimid gave me permission to upload ROM here.

In this version Dimid originally support partial multilanguage. There were some mistakes in the non-russian translations which I corrected (some applications didn't work because of bad translations), removed cyrrilic from Settings, added some translations and made some small additional changes, e.g. removed boot sound, … I do not plan to add support for more languages in near future. If some language is missing for you, install the previous version, where I hopefully added all important languages -> https://www.needrom.com/download/thl-5000-vibeui-2-0-final/

Installation:
Before flashing  make a full backup of the current system in TWRP (Boot, Logo, Nvram,Recovery,Uboot,System,Data). If you will want to return previous ROM, simply restore the backup. Caution: Install only on increased system partition 1,5 GB! If you haven't increased system partition, first install previous ROM version, then sytem partition will be increased: https://www.needrom.com/download/thl-5000-vibeui-2-0-final/
1. Go to TWRP
2. Click Wipe, then select: Dalvik Cache, System, Cache, Data, Android Secure
3. Click Swipe to wipe
3. Click Install button, choose ROM ZIP file, then click Add more ZIPs, choose ROOT_VibeUI.ZIP file
4. Click Swipe to confirm Flash, then click Reboot to System
5. When phone boots up, select language a finish installation
6. Phone will ask you -> Allow all requests for root access
7. Rename folder "Служебные" to "Tools" and "Сыстемные" to "System tools"
8. Finish

Adittional patches: 
VibeUI_boot_110_fixed.zip - core for the old display type (ROM in defult support new displays) 
Root_VibeUI.zip - ROOT access
Patch_remove_SECUREit.zip - Side effect -> Auto Search towns in the weather widget stops working. There may be some another unknown bugs. Use at your own risk. Before applying make backup.

If you find system application that falls, turn the phone into English and try if it still falling. If in English does not fall, it is a bad translation in your language. Tell me, I'll fix it. I could not test all the languages in detail, because I do not know them.

THL 5000 Lite ROM 2.0 - all Lite ROMs are very fast and smooth, there is no lagg of any kind, works perfect, fast and smooth.

This is the next ROM from excellent  ukrainian author Dimid/iv2012 (see below this post and please donate him on  WebMoney, if you have  an account there). It's a pity that Dimid  hasn't Paypal. ROM advantages are: pure Android, small size, simplicity, speed and low battery consumption. ROM is ROOTed, GAPPS are included, OTG works. Dimid gave me permission to upload ROM here.  I prepared  a little bit modified version where removes residual cyrillic, added missing translates and made a few small changes. I'm excited from this ROM  - I have installed Gravity Box through which I set what I need.

Languages:  Multilanguage

Installation: (as usually from TWRP)
1 – save the ROM file Lite_v2_Odex_2.zip  on the SD card

3 – click Wipe and select items: Dalvik Cache, System, Cache, Data, Int.SDcard (optional) and Android Secure, then click Swipe to Wipe
4 – click on Install, choose ROM file Lite_v2_Odex_2.zip and install it – click Swipe to Install, then click Reboot System
5 – enable notification LED in Settings/Display/Led switch -> Enable 
6 – finish
7 – if you don't like default wallpaper (like me), setup wallpaper from Classic V3 ROM
8 – If you will install Gravity Box, do not forget change default setting in Phone tweaks/Telephony/Fullscreen caller photo, set it to Partial and restart phone

Optional patches (Important: Install it in TWRP: click on Install, then click Wipe Cache/Dalvik, finally click Reset to system):
- Modem_st_850.zip – original THL modem 850/2100MHz. If you have problems with wifi/3G, try this. It will replace integrated 900/2100Mhz modem from Dimid (several people reported small problems, me not). This modem may be used in any Dimids ROM. If you do not have problems, do not install.
- Kernel110_old_disp_fixed.zip - core for old display type (install when your Gama is different from value 2.0)
- SoundRecorder.zip - corrects falling sound recorder
- Unlock_VolKey.zip - phone unlocking by the volume buttons 
- Unlock_VolKey_back.zip - switch off unlocking by the volume buttons (revert back original state)
- PermControlNoIcon.zip - deactivate the Permission Controll apk icon in the upper left corner in any launcher
- FMRadio112.zip - FM Radio from stock ROM 1.1.2. (has RDS)
- DolbyAtmos_r6.5.zip  - sound enhancer Dolby Atmos 6.5, after installation will get new icon Dolby Atmos, settings there. (before installation make full backup in TWRP (If you would like to go back) 

Other files:
- default_wallpaper_Classic3.rar - default wallpaper from Classic V3 ROM – unpack archive, will get JPG file, set it as wallpaper in launcher.

TWRP for THL 5000 version: 2.8.7.0 - latest version originally from excellent russian author nickname SevenMaxs, russian forum: http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?s=&showtopic=592576&view=findpost&p=42019244. I asked him for permission (by QMS on russian forum 4PDA) to record it here, but a week is not responding (perhaps he is on vacation). So, I hope he will not get angry. If so, I delete it from here. Again. I am not the author, the author is russian SevenMaxs. Very thank him for to compile this latest version for us. The only reason why I recorded it here is to help many English speakers who can't access to Russian forum - they don't speak Russian, can not handle the registration.
